Pros and cons of Time Magazine Europe app for iPhone and iPad

Time Magazine Europe app good for

- download works rather well, even with weak internet link. (Good Decisions on compression, and usability when issues are partially loaded) - quality of layout is very good. - search features of both app and time.com need improvement.

Title says it all. Looks great and easy to use. A must for Time fans who travel (be it plane, train or subway)

Frustrating problem solved! Bug might have been Apples responsibility more than TIME?

Appreciate not having to carry paper magazine on my travels while having TIME with me at all times / anywhere. TIME should consider three model subscriptions one paper, one electronic only economical/ecological/practical (my preference) and a third combination paper+electronic.

EDIT dec 23th: After 3 months of not being able to download my issues (all access subscriber), I finally contacted Time Europe customer service. They change something in my account, and the download ability was back! About the app: I have always been a big fan of this "enhanced" version of the paper copy. More animations, easy to read, it is my favorite way of reading Time! EDIT dec 19th: This is insane… Still no fix to this bug!!! While the US version has been fixed (version 32.2.6), the european version is stil NOT WORKING!! (31.3.9). Can anyone at TIME do something???? EDIT oct14th: still cant download my issues! Problem ive reported on september is still NOT fixed!!!! Really really annoying!!!! Since ios8 upgrade, i cant download my issues even though im an all-access subcriber... i tried everything, log out, clear data, but still... Always says "buy issue" instead of "download" please fix this ASAP!!!

The american point of view through international news. Its clear and welldone, perfect to improve my english every morning at breakfast.

Some bad moments

It is foolish that audio stops once leaving the page. I want to listen audio and read related other pages simultaneously.

Not much optimized for iPad : a lot of scrolling, no interactivity. No specific iPad subscription, the price of single issues is the same as the hard copy version. Finally the paper magazine gives more value for its price than this iPad version.

Problems to connect to the application The first Time I used the app, all was ok. Then I tried to enter my Time id and password. They were not recognized and since then I cant connect to the app. Everytime I try to connect there is an immediate disconnect. Whatever can I do ? The Time customer service does not seem to understand the problem and is unable to help me.

I try to download the last time edition but app crash and crash and crash and crash and crash and crash and crash and crash.

I have updated iOS and I cant download anymore the issues. Even the old issues are unavailable. I hope You will fix the problem soon!!

One of the most poorly designed and chronically malfunctioning app. With every update it creates more sign in and downloading havoc! Ive been a Time Magazine subscriber for decades. Yet, when I sign in using my ID and password, I canNOT download the magazine! I verify and it confirms I am a subscriber and I canNOT download the magazine. If I didnt already receive the print version, Id never read it. If I could give this app a zero, I would. How can such a stellar magazine with such a highly valued brand, be so incompetent in designing their app? Its unacceptable, period.
